Follicular Unit Hair Transplant (FUT)
During this hair transplant procedure, a strip of donor tissue is removed from the back of the patient’s head that’s not genetically predisposed to baldness. Once the graft is prepared, the grafts are implanted in the thinning and balding areas of the scalp.
Follicular Unit Extraction Hair Transplant (FUE)
In this procedure, Dr. Stoller and his team extract individual follicular units instead of a large linear strip of hair and transplant the resulting grafts to the recipient sites that are thinning and balding. This procedure requires a very small incision, leaving tiny scars that are virtually invisible.
